When nothing and everthing is clear

This night is on
and in between dreams and reality
I think.

About all the things
that I've been through in this last few years
Battles, sadness, smiles and love,
fears, doubts and answers.

All together like a big puzzle.
Like a dream
but real
Like this present out of control,
like the longest instants
full of things
that I will never be able to understand.

The eternal change is now

A new beginning
is out there
waiting for us every morning.

And in the meantime
we keep on thinking
with doubts, fears and questions.

Everything is changing
all the time,
on the inside and the outside...
And some times
we turn to be completely different
from what we were...
while still
remaining the same.

Reality will come to take it all over

When we were little kids
imagination was our reality.
We could spend ours in mind created worlds
without questioning,
without answering.

Then time comes
and reality washes away almost everything
unless we resist.

Most of us, fail to battle.
too many worries I could claim
(another excuse maybe)
and some memories get tainted
with the ink that should never
paint the canvas from the past.

When you ask the right question

After all
there is not much time
to do all the things that we want to do.
The clock is ticking
Time is fading away as we chose
whether to do it
or not.
But in the end.
Only few things really matter.
Very few.

I don't know why

Silence on the inside,
like a peaceful war
but not for real.
This last couple of months I've been absent
From me, from you, from inspiration.
I don't know why
sometimes we let go the things we love the most...
But what really confuses me the most
is why I still try to write these lines.

The streets of Tel Aviv

For a long time,
since I moved away
I've been thinking
about the meaning of the word "home"
and in between smiles and memories
of my parent's house
my grandparent's living room
and my friends
I start to understand
that home is not only in one place
but anywhere where you feel love
and being loved.

Maybe it's about time

The other night
Walking down the street
I saw a mice drinking water
on a snake's cage.
It got me thinking about life, time and destiny
It got me thinking about how few we know
and how much we worry.

Maybe it's about time
to take things easier...
sing more,
laugh more
and be less serious...
after all none of us
will escape from this life
alive.

Facing the unknown

How many times
facing your luck
you made wishes
you made plans
you built hope.

In front of the unknown
the simple question of what is going to happen
Tomorrow
and the following day.

Too many doubts
too many dreams to achieve
and very few time.

So start now
Walk
with eyes closed
Face the morning to come
and smile
don't forget
to smile.

Another year about to come...

One last wish
before I scream goodbye to my 27.
Looking backwards and smiling
Looking forward with confidence (and more respect than before)
Understanding that things
not always come out as we thought they would...
and that's good
damn good.

My advice...
start practicing your surprised face.
You will need it.

Long live the King

When everything is shadows
and nothing but faith
can make us move on.
When the battle is imminent
As the sun comes down
and the stars witness our hopes
or fears, or tears.

With the only hope of being able.
To still believe
only second before
our eyes get closed
forever.

Will offer you all and something more

I barely remember
when was the last time
that hope won over logic.
Those days when I used to believe
that E V E R Y T H I N G
was possible.

Back then when we were younger
less serious
less responsible
and less successful...
but with more passion
and careless
about what we were supposed to be.

The roads of music

It's only when the music is loud
that I listen to it
the uncivilized myself
that paints the landscape
with colors and joy
at the same time.

Like living in an eternal dream
Like if I had never left home
still there
in my bedroom
waiting for my parents
kiss of good night.

Returning after never leaving

What's new
on the news today
with the same old dust
covering it all
same old hope
to see things
get better
same old dream
to be that person
you always wanted to be
and tomorrow morning
maybe
might wake up.

Everybody have a different a way

Got love?
If it's the real kind
no matter what.
I bet it feels just fine.
(And hopefully smells good as well)

The persue of happiness

After all
that is what we are all looking for
sometimes with desperate passion
sometimes in shadows of silence...
the one thing
that makes us feel alive
for real..
But the question is:
How far are we willing to go,
to make it happen?

Who should take the lead?

Still the same questions in my head
thinking about where all this madness
is taking us.

Thinking about our roles and responsibilities.
We were put in this world
to make the best out of it
to care about it.

I think is fair for someone else
to lead the way
because sadly,
we have lost our north.

The place that you can call home

It's up to you after all
to live your life here
or somewhere else.
To feel pain or runaway.

I know is hard.
At least I for me it is
Still trying, more than what I would like to..
not to escape from (this?) reality.

The voices in your head will not shut up

Some nights
they come back to visit
Memories from a distant life
that maybe
I've never dared to live.

Something out of my conscious and logic.
Something that can really challenge
every single statement and value that I have
they just come at night
only at nights
when we remember
our present
and the fact the life is too short
to runaway from our dreams.

Ignorance is Bless

Thinking nonsense
mind gibberish that makes you fly away
from everything you know
while your steps dance a silent song,
in a quiet morning.

Then you see something,
and the spell goes away.
Like the end of childhood,
or maybe not.

You know what really matters

Only a few things are important
many less than what you think
so make the try
make your list,
start naming 100 "important things"
and cut the list into half each day...
let's talk
by the end of this week.

After all
we will all get there.

The toxic war is out there
waiting for bacteria to do it's job
The flu has taken over people
running and hiding from others
trying to save their lonely existences.

The new beginning

The Raise of a new civilization
is imminent
almost happening right now...
a more sensitive specie
that has learn to be like us
but better.
With less hate, destruction and discrimination.
With real passion.
A more advanced version
of what we could have been.

Wait in line

Sometimes
while waiting in a long line
I think about my surroundings
trying to understand what made
each of the standing souls
to be in the place where they are..
in a specific moment
when their existence almost merges
with mine.

Destiny?
Decisions?

So much silence in this world
with so much going on around us.
And so few words
coming out
from our mouths.

The light you give will enlight the path

There is still
a long way to go
Trust me.
You will be scared like you have never been
You will also laugh so hard that
it's going to be hard to understand...
that living
is a gift
full of unexpected
surprises.

Trust me that we are together in this one

It's always easier together
to beat sadness
to heal pain
and to become stronger.

Specially at nights
when fear comes to visit...
because if only one of us
