Maybe it's about time

The other night
Walking down the street
I saw a mice drinking water
on a snake's cage.
It got me thinking about life, time and destiny
It got me thinking about how few we know
and how much we worry.

Maybe it's about time
to take things easier...
sing more,
laugh more
and be less serious...
after all none of us
will escape from this life
alive.

when you are speaking out loud
because what comes out from your mouth
might be even more important
than who you really are,
so next time
before making any sound
just remember that what you say
once is in the air
takes you with him.

When your eyes look
your soul looks in the same direction
as well as every time you turn your head
so as not to see what makes you feel sad.
Whenever you see somebody into his eyes
you can see his past and present.
